i do not think china believes in the notion of undying friendship per se, just mutual interests, us israel is a unique abnormal case which should not be compared to pakistan china.
china also does not wish to take on the burden of the world like the us pretends to, so i cant see them giving freebies, everything is an investment to them.

Putting all emotions aside, China has a non-alliance policy i.e. they are equally allied with everyone. Due to our long term co-operation and joint ventures with the Chinese, they would always have a soft side for Pakistan. But that doesnt mean that they would go all out for us like US does for Israel.
